Good hotel, but manage expectations. Budget hotel
Stay was pleasant. AC was good, good water pressure, clean rooms. Sound proofing was poor though. I could hear noise from the hallway and the adjacent rooms. Housekeeping wasnt 24/7 so sometimes you have go downstairs to get some amenities you need but we do need to manage expectations since this is a budget hotel. But they do deliver the basics of what you need for a pleasant stay.

an excellent hotel for the price, the online check-in didn't work for me (even tho I retried 5 times and making sure my passport photo was perfect) but in person check-in was very good and fast. Very close to bus station (1 small block to the west), a bit far from metro (15 minutes walk, it felt like 30 minutes in sweltering heat). Room and towels were clean, A/C was quiet, hot water was hot. the only complaint was the bed rolled out so easily when I was sitting against the headboard. Definitely will stay here again.

Having stayed in Clark Quay the location is a little out of town. Walking distance to some eateries. The area can feel sketchy but most people mind their business, didn't feel unsafe for me. There are two bus stops that serve the hotel. Clan facilities however the plumbing in some rooms is exposed so can be noisy. Overall value great for one night stay.

Wonderful customer service - Top notch !! Friendly fast efficient checkin and checkout. Lovely staff here. Budget hotel with Good air conditioning Unfortunately the 6th floor room had a rather pungent mould smell & a loud, constant noise emitting from the fuse box in the room. Bed was hard - good for my back though. Mini fridge in room. Powerful shower - although strong hands required to squeeze shower cream from bottle ! Constant hot water- switch on prior to use, excellent shower, good pillows & towels

Good thing about ibis Budget Singapore Crystal is that eventhough it is sitting at the outskirt of Singpore central, but there are bus routes and MRT near by which take you directly to the centre. You are staying at one of the most popular street for food, so you won't go hungry. Beverages (soft drink, water, etc.) are also quite cheap, comparing to other tourist areas. One thing that traveller should be mindful of is that this ibis is located right the centre of the most busy red light district in Singapore, which you can see "business" happening after dark. However, the business is not public but behind those red light houses.
