Very disappointed

This hotel was very disappointing. It really needs cleaning and some updates. Everything was dirty ..even the one bath towel they given to us. Our money was non-refundable..otherwise we would have left from the moment we entered the so-called office. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Where to even begin with this place. Very unclean and under kept. The bed was clean so that was a plus I suppose. They also double booked our room so my friend and I had to share a bed as our double bed room was not available. They put us in a jacuzzi sweet. Surprise surprise the jacuzzi was DISGUSTING, so if you’re looking forward to that- don’t. I think our final straw was having to hear birds chirping and scratching inside the walls of our AIR CONDITIONER. Theirs nothing like sharing a room with a literal animal. Anyways, goodluck if you’re staying, the staff is very nice and so are the people but RUN if you haven’t booked for here already.

For the price, it was poor quality, dirty, run down and badaids on everything rather than fixing issues like replacing blinds. Outdated furniture and nonworking outlets, television connection issues. There was a coffee maker but no coffee cups. All around, it was poor quality. Only good thing were the towels.

Difficult to check in and out, tried checking out at 7 am and again at 10 am and there was nowhere to leave the keys, I rang the door bell 4 times each time I tried and called MANY times. Someone who lives at the hotel told me they wouldn’t the owners and to leave the keys under the welcome mat. Nice flooring but VERY dirty. Walking around in the motel room our feet got black. It was gross and the area is very sketchy. The beds are sagged in the middle so forget about getting a good nights sleep. Would NOT go back

Do not stay at this place

Mold in bathroom, every single thing broken and dirty. I have never seen a place like this, its made for homeless people. No heat, toilet and sheets dirty. Please do not stay here. Have informed Hotels com to remove this property and looking for a refund

Not suitable for anyone to stay in.

When we arrived our room was visibly run down and soiled, there was an actual vomit stain on the side of the bed, table wall and floor. The tub has dirt film and pubic hairs in it. The toilet had feces all a round the edge, and there smears of what looked like spit or snot on the mirror. No towels. One roll of toilet paper and dust everywhere. Then when checking the sheets we found food crumbs under it on the mattress as well as visibly dirty sheets. Manager said he would t refund us then changed his mind and said we had to go through our booking and he would approve the cancellation without a fee.

Really horrible. The room had very less lighting I think they have done that purposely so we cannot see how dirty everything is. Tables were filled with dust even the floor was dirty. There was bugs in the bed and the towels smelled bad. I stayed only for a night. The place didn't even had a mirror. Such places of stay should be removed from booking app. Its a request. We are coming from far by trusting such booking app so there is a responsibility for you people to ensure the comfort of your customers.

The room is dirty and untidy. Bedding and towels have blood stains. No heater , when we try to call the office no one is answering. The neighbours are very noisy and they smoking and picking in front of our room around 4-5 am . We get out from the room around 7 am because we can’t endure the coldness. I will never go back and never recommend to any one else.

Wonderful stay at Highlander Inn

It was a wonderful stay at Highlander Inn! =) I was surprised when I opened the door to the room - such a beautiful room greeted me! =D There was a fireplace and a hot tub. There was both a microwave and fridge. There were lots of shampoo and soap and two fluffy white towels. I wish there were more channels on TV but I brought my iPad too. Wifi worked well. When it got chilly in the night, the fireplace was a lifesaver. It was very warm in front of it. I booked this on a whim and didn’t understand why there were so many bad reviews!? It certainly was a great motel and I’d stay here again. I had a such a restful and relaxing time.

Gross, don’t stay here!

It was the nastiest place I have ever been in. The place was so dirty that we went out and bought some cleaning supplies for us to clean the room ourselves. The bathroom had urine covering the walls. The air conditioner was so dirty it would have covered the room in dust if turned on. The light switches and door knobs were visibly dirty. The floors were filthy, they had to be swept. There were cobwebs and bugs. After cleaning the room we were checking the beds; after turning down the bedding, the sheets and mattress pad were covered in stains that appeared to be urine and other bodily fluids, along with other people’s hair. I cannot imagine any person being willing to stay in these conditions. I do not expect perfection, but a bed with other individuals DNA visible to the naked eye is completely unacceptable. I had to check out after seeing the condition of the bed and am being refused a refund from the owner. In my opinion, this owner has no business operating a hotel. I have to ask why the app hotels.com or expedia doesn’t have any fault in having this motel on the web sight advertising as one thing and presenting as the complete opposite. I have multiple photos and videos showing the amount of Lysol wipes that I used to clean the room. I regret not taking a video prior to starting cleaning as even though it is still terrible in the video, it was actually much much worse. As you can see in the photos the wipes that were originally white are now brown from dirt.
