Food -Two thumbs and big toes down .
The overall stay was good, however the food was horrible. The market place buffet was nasty for breakfast lunch and dinner. The papala was at best ok. The ocean restaurants was mediocre. The best restaurants on the resort was the Koi restaurant. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, although the dining experience was disappointing. The buffet restaurant offered mediocre meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the ocean restaurant was unremarkable. The only truly exceptional dining experience on the resort was at the Koi restaurant. The Valentine’s dinner was so bad that all four courses were disguising so much so that by the time our entree’s came we were disgusted . The steak for out entree was cooked so hard and the lobster was mushy. We sent it back and left before the last course was served. The entertainment for the valentine’s dinner was the best part of the dinning experience.

Overall, hotel is OK. Our room was clean enough. Unfortunately pillows are not comfortable at all and bad was not so comfy too. No full size mirror in the room. No great service at the restaurants and in buffets. Very poor choices of meat and fish, the veggies and fruits choices are good. No activities at the beach on adults section, the entertainment was not great. You are not getting good services at the beach bar if you are not giving a tip.

Quase tudo perfeito.
Quase tudo perfeito. O que deixou a desejar foram algumas coisas, vou citar elas aqui: Primeiro os restaurantes que precisam fazer reservas, a churrascaria "BRASILERA" Algo assim, que deveria ser um rodizio, extremamente ruim, a carne passava a cada 20min, e passou apenas 3x já e perguntaram se podiam recolher a mesa. segundo, sobre a divulgação das informações, teve festa na piscina, festa do branco e não ficamos sabendo de nada disso, pois no aplicativo, mostra apenas o que vai ter no adulto only, que sinceramente só tem Karaoke. As atividades do Adults Only, são voltada praticamente para os Idosos. Fora isso. Foi quase tudo perfeito.

Birthday trip
Firstly, the resort is new and very clean very well kept. I’ve been to Punta Cana numerous times but this is the first and more than likely the last stay at The Serenade. The food was not good at all and we weren’t able to book the steak house during our 4 night stay because they were all booked and only open on Friday and Saturday. It was very clear that most of the staff did NOT want to be there. Most had bad attitudes and were not friendly especially the bartenders. They(bartenders) talked about us in front of us not realizing we understood some of what they were saying. The nightly shows/entertainment were maybe an hour long and after that, everything(the resort) was dead. I will definitely stay somewhere else next time until they can work out the kinks.

Something , the water or food, had my partner and I feeling unwell. We had the jacuzzi on the balcony and had to request for it to get cleaned. The sheets weren’t changed, just the bed was made. We were unable to dine at a restaurant because no where had availability to make a reservation and we were there for 5days.

Disfrute mucho mi estadía en este hotel. Los chicos del equipo de entretenimiento hacen un excelente trabajo, no nos aburrimos ni un segundo. La playa muy limpia se podía estar todo el día si deseábamos. La habitación muy moderna, elegimos el swim out suite, el cual estaba muy bonito. Todos los días nos cambiaban las toallas y limpiaban la habitación. El buffet muy bueno, habían dos, con muchísimas opciones para elegir, la comida bastante aceptable para ser de resort. El único problema fue que no alcanzábamos nunca reserva para los restaurantes de la noche, ya que no estaban todos abiertos todos los días. Mención especial a Tais, la chica del front desk que nos ayudó mucho el primer día, Kenny que nos resolvió las mejores excursiones y Alex Sánchez uno de los camareros que fue súper atento con nosotros. Nunca me encontré con un empleado que no estuviera feliz de atendernos, todos fueron amables.

Our honeymoon experience at this resort was disappointing. Despite calling a week in advance to emphasize the importance of our trip and inquire about restaurant and excursion reservations, our concerns were dismissed. Upon arrival, we found all the nicer restaurants fully booked, leaving us with only the buffet (which was mediocre) and an Italian restaurant (which was good). We missed out on the steakhouse and seafood options included in our package. The staff was generally unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed disengaged. Excursion booking was frustrating as they offered high prices and tried to push a timeshare presentation for discounts. Instead, we used a highly-rated external tour company after being warned (unprofessionally) by hotel staff about safety risks with outside agencies. The room quality was underwhelming—few working outlets, no basic amenities like an iron, and limited room service options. The adult-only section lacked events, and minimal rain would shut down activities without alternatives. While we had access to the family area, we were poorly informed about its offerings, and the app was confusing. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations.

this all inclusive resort does not include any higher brand liquor. in the package. the people are really not friendly at all. and the food is very limited. not really much to do around the property. Tvs weren't working and think there are cameras in the room which i was told was a sensor. will definitely not visit this property again

The Serenade is a very pretty resort. The rooms are lovely. The staff are very friendly. The food was ok but I found there was not much variety. It is a small resort so perhaps that accounts for choice selection at the buffet. Also I did not book restaurants when I arrived and when I tried a few days into my trip they were already booked up. They are not open every night so that was part of the problem. The beach is lovely and a nice shallow area that extends quite far so people are not all clustered together. You have to be out by 7:00 if you want a front row beach hut. They fill up quickly.
