The hotel room was very well appointed, and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful since this was our 1st time visiting Barcelona. We were provided with a map of the area detailing top places to visit. Although we were very pleased with the hotel, we did not feel safe to venture out during the evening in this neighborhood. For safety reasons, we would not recommend this hotel for families.

The location was in an "interesting" area as we were told by staff but after 4 nights we experienced no issues at all - just follow front desks staff suggestions.
