We had a weekend trip at this hotel, and the overall experience was very good. The room standard was high, and the breakfast was both varied and delicious. However, we felt that the staff could have provided more information during check-in. For example, we only later discovered that the hotel had its own car service to the airport (at a cost of 20 euros). This was not mentioned upon arrival and only came up when we asked the reception to book a taxi for us.
The hotel’s restaurant and cocktail bar on the fifth floor were definite highlights. The food and drinks were excellent, and we rate the drinks 10/10! Unfortunately, we found the waitstaff to show little interest in upselling. It often took a long time to get their attention, and we would likely have ordered more drinks if the service had been more attentive. One waiter also spent quite a bit of time on his phone, which detracted from the experience.
We stayed at the hotel in November, so the outdoor pool was closed. However, we can imagine that it’s a great spot to swim and enjoy the bar during the summer months.
The hotel’s location is very central, with plenty of restaurants, cocktail bars, and grocery stores nearby.
