The city has plenty to see and do in the near area and all walkable. The park by the water was great to walk in the morning and the playgrounds were great for the kiddos. The numerous bridges are fun to explore and look at. Really fun and cool city

Louisville has great events especially during the Kentucky Derby Festivities. Staying downtown gives you great access to many events leading up to the big race. Heading over to Nulu or Bardstown road provides some great dining and bar experiences.

Louisville was great! People are very polite and I didn't feel unsafe. It was a quiet weekend with no big events in town but we had a great time checking out distilleries and eating food. I'd certainly come back for another weekend of fun

We were only in the Louisville area for one day. We did the Mega Tram Tour at the Mega Cavern, ate at Oskar's Slider Bar, and visited a few antique stores. We definitely would like to come back to the area and do a Riverboat cruise, etc.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at KICC. We LOVED the NuLu area, as well as the two malls on the other side of town. Louisville is easy to navigate, even with a bridge closure! This city is very clean and extremely friendly!

We went to mega caverns to see the Christmas lights - if you go, go during the day it's impossible to go at night. The best part is that you don't have to go at night because it's in a cavern.

Our favorite things to do in the area was the Michter's distillery tour, Howl at the Moon piano bar, Parlay Sports Bar, the walking bridge, and 5 Iron Golf. Do not go to Sports and Social Club!

Try Cask, a restaurant about 15 minutes away off of I-64 and Hurstbourne Pkwy. Very good southern food and excellent bourbon list and drinks. Right next to the interstate too.

"The room was spacious for my handicapped husband . It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was someone mowing or gardening at 7:20 am. I was awake but for the other guests who weren’t, I am sure they weren’t happy. "
