The location was prime, close to city center, mini supermarket, attractions and restaurants. As we went in April and not in high season, the street was quiet and felt very safe at night. The apartment itself was ample for two adults and a toddler with a living space and fully stocked kitchen for small meal preps.
There was a lack of attention to details that would made the experience much better; as a family with a small child and for what we paid in a shoulder season, I would expect daily or every other day turndown service for a minimum of trash and recycling. I shouldn’t have to contact the person to remove the trash or be told to take the trash out to the city facilities without any other refill bags. Another downfall was the overflow of water from the shower anytime you showered to the bathroom floor, soaking the floor after each shower which might have been mopped.
