I stayed here for the first time back in June for a firefighting class at the college. I came back this weekend for another class and knew I wanted to stay here again. Delicious breakfast, friendly front desk staff, clean room, love this place!

The hotel was in excellent shape. The rooms were great. The amenities were good. There was an incidence and a scare with the elevator.\nWhere the attendant there, that night told us we were not allowed to use it.It was making noises and jumping up-and-down.That was a bit scary , but other than that , everything was great

Was charged for parking $5.55 which ok but never told anything about it at check in or check out and it says Free Parking on your site. I had to call and ask why I was charged this amount and to send me a copy. Poopy if you ask me

The hotel was extremely good. Nice and clean. I just don't give exceptional to any place, as there is always room to do better. I would definitely stay there again.

4/10 Sederhana

Room was very stuffy on the 4th floor couldn't open any windows bathtub was moldy could not believe it for a hotel that was less than a year old. Breakfast was terrible the egg runny sausage cold along with the potatoes after check out went to the local McDonald's for a hot cup of coffee and something to eat as the were out of coffee. How does that happen stayed here on a recommendation of a family member. I have been coming up to alpena for 30 years because my parents lived here this was among one of the worst nights in all my stays and I have stayed in every hotel in Town. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel

Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Check in was a little slow, but seamless otherwise. The bedsheets were nice and the room and bathroom clean, however, we found the bed to be very firm. The mattress is on a platform, not a box spring. We kept waking up due to shoulder pain and hip pain from the firmness. If you are young, it probably won’t bother you! The breakfast was very good. We had them email us the receipt and it wasn’t till after we left we looked at it and were shocked that they tacked on a “self parking fee” of $5.55 on top of the Hotels.com agreed upon price. We were never told we would have to pay to use the hotel parking lot, which should be included in the hotel price.
