Two weeks into our holiday, this is the loveliest place we have stayed so far. The owners were both so friendly and helpful, and the room was gorgeous. Lots of very thoughtful little touches. It was nice to be just off the main road and nice and quiet, but still very easy walk to everything.
I can recommend this accomodation without hesitation, and if I am lucky enough to come back to Hanmer springs again I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great room and a fabulous location
Really loved our spa room which had a complete kitchen as well as the spa bathtub and an outside balcony. Bed was comfortable and the location was superb just a five minute walk to the thermal pools and a similar distance to the Hanmer Forest entrance on Scarborough Terrace. Highly recommended. The nicest room we have had in New Zealand so far.

The motel is located close to the pools and is in a quiet location. We booked a room with a separate king sized bedroom and balcony. The room was good and had pretty much everything you would want to be able to cook except a dishwasher. Very close to the forest walks - I would recommend the sculpture walk. There are great food options in Hanmer and several bars.
