We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon while it was in its soft opening phase. To be fair, since it’s a new property, the room quality and facilities were clean and brand new. The staff initially seemed friendly. However, our experience was completely ruined by their utter lack of professionalism during and after checkout.
We had a massage at the hotel and specifically requested to "post to room" to pay during checkout. When we checked out, we paid for our room service and explicitly asked the front desk, "Is everything settled? Are we good to go?" They confirmed that everything was paid for and told us we were clear to leave.
Here is where the nightmare started:
1. Harassment on the way to the airport: While heading to the airport, the hotel contacted us claiming they "forgot" to charge us for the massage.
2. Security Risk: They asked for my credit card information over the phone. Even after providing it, they claimed the payment failed and started demanding an e-transfer.
3. Constant Nagging: Ever since then, the management has been hounding me via WhatsApp and email, constantly asking me to do this and that to fix their mistake.
This is clearly an issue caused by the unprofessionalism of the front desk staff, not the guest. Instead of taking responsibility for their error, they have been incredibly annoying and have repeatedly ruined my post-vacation mood.
I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you want a stress-free honeymoon, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
