The hotel is in a great location. The room was nice, clean and well equipped. This was unfortunately let down by a mirror light that was unable to be turned off. As this was not in a bathroom with a door, this meant the bedroom was lit up at night with no way of the room being fully dark. We reported this to the receptionist after the first night who said they would look into it, later saying “that’s just how it is” and apparently all rooms were the same. She recommended that we close the door - but there is no door where the mirror is. It didn’t feel very friendly or helpful.
The spa/pool area is a nice bonus but I wouldn’t book specifically for it. The sauna is nice but unsure of the purpose of the pool. It is too small for swimming but not hot enough for sitting. It does have some jets that turn on sporadically, seemingly with no way of manually turning on or off.
The bar staff were friendly though, as was a different receptionist who listened to our feedback when checking out.
