A shocker!
I have stayed in many places and never been treated as I was arriving to check in. I booked a king room. I waited 5-10 minutes at check in desk and asked what was the problem. The girl said cannot seem to find your booking and went and got another girl who seemed more experienced. She said we will just add you in as booking as not there as can take a while when booked through a third party. Was given a key and found my room was not a king room. I went back to reception and was told by the original girl who seemed fairly new that they didn’t have a king but they had not told me that at time of giving me the key. I said what can they do and the more experienced girl gave the other girl a room key to give me and I said so how did you suddenly find a king room and she said it was for someone that had not checked in yet. She said you have what you want in a agro way. I said why are you being so rude to me and so angry. She raced from around the back of the desk swearing saying she was sick of this and the more experienced girl ran after her and left me standing there! I told the experienced girl when she came back that the other girl was not suitable to be on the front desk welcoming people. I would never recommend this hotel. If I was the owner I would seriously be looking at the staff greeting people to their hotel. Some sort of uniform would look smarter and create a better impression.
