Nice place with a nice view close enough to the night life yet far enough (8 minutes walks) to the center of the party zone at night! Owner was really cool (Of course, he was also a Crespo) and So was Karen!

Sweet people and wonderful views made the stay worth it! Enjoyed the fridge and chilled water. Off the beaten trail (so quiet) but near really good food and pretty much everything within a 10 minute walk. The room we stayed in was a bit strangely laid out but very clean and had a strong fan over the bed - nice detail. Plants are beautiful but a bit on the over grown side. Pool could have used some attention and there were no full size hammocks but the chairs were great to watch the lake and nature all around. Thankful for them.

En sådant mysigt ställe, med en värdinna som bjöd de små gesterna av att välkomna. Fantastisk utsikt över sjön, med ett rikt fågelliv och underbara soluppgångar. Lugnt och skönt på nätterna. Rekommenderar varmt!!

The location is easy to find and there’s plenty to do nearby. If you’re renting a car, be aware that you can’t drive directly to the hotel due to the very narrow streets. I found a parking lot about a 5-minute walk away, which was still quite convenient. The pool wasn’t very inviting, so we didn’t end up using it. On a positive note, the front desk staff member was very friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English, which was extremely helpful.

Room was small, but cheap and adequate. I used the bench outside my room to ponder, plan, read, surf and enjoy the flora. The grounds are a great garden. The staff, Cecilia and Joaquin, are wonderful. There is a bar/restaurant across the path, El Barrio, I highly recommend.

Excellent stay. Excellent restaurants close by. Excellent views of Lake Atitla... Dec 2025 • Family Great location. Minutes to lake front. They have swings and hammocks close to the lake. The hammocks were extremely comfortable and one can sleep soundly to the sound of wind and wave. There are excellent views of the massive lake Atitlan from choice locations scattered across the property or directly from your room that has large picture windows. There are outstanding restaurants providing all varieties of cuisines and we easily found vegetarian and vegan options. The town and street side shops are available within a few minutes. Five minutes walk will take you to a transcendental beach from which mountains, mists, clouds merging with peaks and fresh air rejuvenate you. There are local laundries that provide pick up and drop off service and fold clothes. So far we didn't find scorpions as noted by a guest The staff and the hotel owner were quite helpful and held our bags while our room was getting ready. I didn't experience the rudeness as described by an experienced guest in reviews. There is a coffee roaster shop and cafe serving exceptional Guatemalan coffee within two blocks of the hotel. Highly recommended. You will get a room facing the lake and sleep to the sounds of wind and wave.
