Our stay at the Budget Inn was very good. We could not find a hotel in Monterey, since it was Monterey car week. So, we had to stay here, but surprised on how clean the room was, and the bathroom was extra-large and recently remodeled. The cons: No hair dryer, no shampoo for hair, no ironing board and no coffee maker. Beside that everything else was fine and good for our 2-night stay in Morgan Hill. I would stay here again if on a budget or just need a room for a night or two.

Well all in all it's a good place to stay for the price. The only downside that I felt was that the bathroom was tiny. Staff was pleasant. Room was comfortable. Air conditioner was great. Water pressure was awesome. But tiny bathroom. For big woman.

Me dieron otra habitación que ya estaba ocupada la 111 y luego me enviaron a la 129 era pésimo el olor a cigarro luego me dieron la 137 no había jabón ni papel higiénico en la mañana siguiente tocando a las 7:30 de la mañana si ya podíamos desocupar el dormitorio fue una experiencia horrible

The housekeeper was excellent and very courteous. The hotel also fit my budget which made me a happy customer. I'll keep coming back when I'm out this way for sure.

Everything was good but the ac/heater. Whenever i would turn on the heater, it didn't blow hot air. It was cold air

The office was not clearly marked and the couple that was helping me check in (I believe the owners) were arguing with raised voices. The room was run down and a lot smaller than expected. The bathroom had hair stuck to the walls in different places. The parking lot was a one lane and no way to get out at the other end which made it difficult to leave.

The room was very small and the carpet was not cleaned. It was too dirty and there were a lot of long hairs here and there. There was hair on the bed. The refrigerator was not turned on and there was no ice. The workers were unkind and didn't smile and didn't say thank you. It's a place I don't want to go to again.

Bed appeared to have 2 bottom box springs to lay on making it difficult to sleep on. When both the top and bottom mattresses both appear to have a board along the outside edge bottom, and you can feel spring underneath the sheet, that's not a mattress, that's a problem. I showed it to the manager on my way out and apparently the cover for the mattress had not been removed, replaced or cleaned in quite some time as it ripped from age, and lack of regular maintenence. Room was reasonably clean, the metal chair was interesting in the shower to accommodate ADA requirement. Scraped my hand getting up off the toilet every time as the bathroom wall was in stucco not semigloss and the texture was very rough. And the grab bar was just far enough that the outside of my hand scraped every time I had to pull myself up off the toilet.
