When we arrived to check in at the hotel, there was already a different customer in the room. When we went back to the main lobby, we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour before the staff got us a room. They did not provide updates either. They just asked us to wait. Any update they did provide to us was provided in Japanese and they clearly knew that I could not understand Japanese. Overall, the staff worked urgently to fix the issue, but it was not clear what they were doing and it was frustrating. The staff simply apologized, but did not provide any complimentary service for our inconvenience. The room was fine, but the wait was much too long.
