Updated motel in downtown Louisville. Having a kitchenette was great with a Keurig, though I did have to ask for pods. Murphy bed is cute. Walls are thin.

This place is in a great location and the place itself is really cute and comfortable. However, it's pretty noisy as it faces the street but in the bedroom is was fine. Also the instructions sent to us before hand didn't work and had to contact the manager (no one is onsite). Also it should be noted that the parking lot closes at night so you cannot get your car out if needed!

The place and location were good but no parking options other than the street parking from 6pm until 7am on weekdays if you’re lucky enough to get closer to the room. Next door neighbours were all out loud though out the night and screaming and yelling at each other. Place was neat and clean. If you’re travelling for business or work, you should avoid this place. If you are travelling for fun and parties, the place may be more suitable.

Very clean, modern and stylish. Great location! Pillows and bed were comfortable and surprisingly the pillows were not mushy but pleasantly medium firm. It was a great stay!

The room was in a great spot in the hidden gem of Louisville Kentucky, maybe not so hidden, but I had no clue. So glad I chose this option over your standard hotel. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops right outside your door and parking was easy as well. I decided to grab some food from Traders Joe’s and the kitchen was stocked will all the essentials to cook a meal, plenty of space for 2 adults or more. Will definitely be my first choice and would recommend to those that like trendy areas or want to live like a local as they advertise.

Very nice setting. Rooms were awesome. Very clean. Late evenings can be louder than normal due to being on Market Street. Great shops within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

The location and decor at The Duke were fantastic and easily deserve five stars. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. During our stay, the heat wasn’t working, and temperatures outside were below 50 degrees. The windows also didn’t close completely, leaving the unit freezing. The unit was not suitable to sleep in. We returned from a concert late that evening to discover we had no heat. We contacted management (AI bot) but learned that maintenance wasn’t available after a certain hour. No one came to help. Instead of relaxing after our evening out, I spent approximately 90 minutes researching the heating system, troubleshooting the problem, and trying to figure out how to get it working. After considerable frustration and trial and error, I finally discovered the system needed a reset and managed to restore the heat myself. Guests should never be expected to spend an hour and a half troubleshooting an HVAC system, especially late at night. Following checkout, management asked me to keep my concerns private rather than leave a negative review because lower ratings could affect their listing. They did not offer any compensation. The property is beautiful and conveniently located, but the lack of after-hours maintenance and responsive guest support (AI bot) significantly impacted our stay.

Amazing chunk of Louisville buzzing right out the front door of this unique and charming hotel! Communications were abundant and precise with the host of this hotel (owner maybe) and incredibly helpful and prompt. Artwork was amazing (I’d love to know the artists name) and the room was well equipped and ample for my family of four (including 2 teenagers) and allowed for cooking and preparing meals, with the privacy of a bedroom and bathroom separate from the main studio space. The room was clean and the water pressure was fabulous. No notes! Stay here… you won’t regret it

This is a very difficult place to stay if you have luggage. It’s on the second floor. You have to carry all your stuff up. There is no parking our room had a Murphy’s bed and the bathroom and shower was despicable.

I had a great stay overall. The cleanliness was top-notch—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and taken care of, which made a big difference. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around and access everything I needed. The contactless check-in process wasn’t perfect, and I did run into a couple of small issues. That said, it was still handled quickly, so it didn’t end up being a major inconvenience. The only downside was the lack of breakfast, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, I’d definitely stay here again.

Was given incorrect login to room and hotel stay. Host contacted me over 9 hours later, I was force to get a different hotel due to no access into my booked stay .

It was a great stay! The only thing I was unaware is my room was over their cool bar. It was something I wish I had known as this was not a leisure trip, and it was hard to do work when so many people were having a blast. I could cover it up with the TV for the most part or sleep, but wish I had known. Everything else was amazing. Also, the pillows need to go. I do not know what they are made from, but were terrible.
