Very nice room, clearly the owner is an interior designer. Very nice stay would recommend. Remotely run property so saw no sign of staff. Had to park using a private website due to no parking visible on site.

There is a car park opposite the hotel. It’s close to all amenities. The room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable that we wanted to ring in sick for work 😄We could have stayed in it all day . It was such a lovely hotel. We will be using it again in the future .

Clean decent room, however, I had trouble sleeping due to traffic and public noise as the large single-glazed window faced a busy main road, and it felt almost like being outside.

The room was clean and perfectly adequate for my needs. I did have trouble locating the front door and had to ask in the pub where it was. The toilet seat was loose and there was no plug in the sink, but these were minor inconveniences due to the short time I stayed at the hotel.

Fire arms went off at 1 45am ,proprietor didnt care or turn.up A guest called fire brigade out Meanwhile,owner was asking how Many people staying at hotel !!!!! Err how do guests know!! This owner needs seriously looking at for uk compliancy!

Was not sent the check-in instructions prior to arriving, room very hot, toilet seat lid didn’t stay open and rested on your back while doing your business. Fire alarm went off at 2am everyone evacuated to the street called emergency contact number they didn’t seem to care and couldn’t even confirm how many guests were staying, fire brigade came out to clear the building. Apology email was received blaming guests for smoking in the room (which no-one did) Would not stay here again!!

I refused to stay at this “hotel” once checked in. Mattress was terrible and the room itself didn’t feel like it looked in the online pictures. The pub underneath is not part of the hotel as it appears in the online description and there was no member of staff on hand or at the end of the mobile phone number. I literally paid again not to stay here for the night, at a far superior large hotel in the centre of Town for the same money. Would never recommend.

The room was adequate. The electric mirror to dresser was not functional. Unfortunately there was a gas leak 200m down the road, and the attending workers were drilling until 2am! Not a restful stay.

When we arrived the door was locked. We had asked about early check-in and was told that it would be possible upon arrival. We had to call the owner and he gave us a code to get in, There was no kiosk as described, there was no one there, This is fully self check-in, It says there is a laundry. We did not see one, The owner was not pleasant all on the phone. There is an Indian restaurant down below the rooms and it gave off a lot of smells from the spices they cook with., The pictures shown look nothing like what we saw, I would not recommend this to anyone, The worst experience we have had in years, The owner needs better communication skills. The bar at the entrance was closed, The only positive was, the bathroom was nice and the bed was very comfortable,

Affordable option to stay central, parking is on the street pay and display. It was easy to access with instructions given, no reception available but worked ok. Not ideal if the weather is hot as no aircon and the building gets very hot inside. For some reason, i was confused as I thought this was around the Marina but not at all. In summary, no frills and works for a quick central stay.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. I do not want to give details but it is not a kind of hotel you can rest properly. For Southampton the price is reasonable, but it is not everything when you need a good rest.

Fire alarm went off at 3.30am. Fire service attended, said it was a faulty system and they've attended before. Messaged the property for a refund, no response.Very poor.

Booking was needlessly complicated. The hotel never responded to emails and never answered calls. The hotel tried to charge me again for the room when I'd already paid in full through Expedia. The room was shabby and not very clean, old coffee/tea residue in mugs etc and music was being played untill 3am. Personally i will never stay there again or use Expedia. I've had so much better experiences with your competitors so i will choose them again in the future and give them my business.
