This hotel is really unique. It is an original, with modern amenities from the 18th century. Great lodging and restaurant! My wife and I stayed overnight at the Baxter house,a separate “cabin” from the hotel. Our own private villa in a beautiful area! Highly recommended!

We found the Black Bass Hotel to be an excellent get-away spot. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and well kept, and the on-site restaurant was wonderful, wait staff included! I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation destination. The surrounding area offered many things to do, and the bike trail was perfect for a good ride or a brisk walk!!

The Black Bass Hotel was lovely. Staff were outstanding and we loved our suite. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and the meal was good and we were treated to chocolates! We would highly recommend the Inn and the Village Suite.

My husband and I thoroughly loved staying at the Black Bass Hotel for my birthday this year! The room was lovely, the bathroom was very spacious and our dinner was delicious as always. We especially loved having a room with a large balcony with a view of the river and bridge!

The Jewel of the Delaware is a better name for this historic building nestled on the banks of the River.

We stayed in the Black Bass Hotel’s only cottage that was right across the street from the hotel. It was very roomy, quiet and clean. The only thing that I did need was a stool to help me get on the king size bed. It was so high and I am only 5’2”. They had a bus buy from the restaurant bring over a step stool. The restaurant’s service and food was outstanding. The general store across the street served a delicious breakfast! It was a great stay!

Came to the Black Bass for an overnight getaway. Was blown away by the room we got, the River Suite was beautiful, and the view of the river was fantastic! There was a little balcony you could enjoy coffee or drinks on. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we were blown away by the bathroom and the claw foot tub! Will definitely come back in the future!

Top top hotel. Lots of history, staff is amazing , and the history of Black Bass is second to none. Great location for many many sites and great shopping and restaurants. A must go and return local!
