convenient
a small 'walk up" hotel in a very convenient area. I don't mind the lack of a lift, and I was gone before breakfast. I just wanted a comfy bed and a shower, and that's what I got.

Good location but the corridor and stairs were constantly being played on by children, screaming and incessant noise. There was also constant rumblings from the underground trains that seemed directly below the hotel!

Extremely small room, tiny bed, toilet, and broken sockets. Not sure how this passes as a hotel room, guess it's not an issue when you have a high demand of tourists!

Spartan at best
It was a cheap room and I understand that booked at last minute due to an extended meeting. The shower holder was broken so you had to hold the shower in one hand whilst showering. The TV did not work. Only discovered that when I got into bed at 11pm and decided to relax with some TV. The breakfast was Spartan. The coffee - some Nescafe in a sachet and some hot....ish water from a thermos! I decided to go elsewhere and pay for breakfast rather than have my "Free" hotel one. When I complained at reception the next morning the receptionist shrugged and said "Its a one star hotel what did you expect!" So it will be Spartan and things that should work will not necessarily work
