I didn't feel safe; it was very dirty—no towel, no shower gel—and there was a lot of noise, so I couldn't sleep. It was terrible.

Clean the room ,spider and no towel on the site they say we have tee or cofee,nothing no plate no cutlery for 60 per night it is too much

Very helpful, friendly staff with super hospitality. Whilst the maintenance of the building is ongoing as it's still fairly new, there is progress being made every week and the Royal Lodge is a great place to stay. It has an excellent location in the Town Centre and is a must for any visitors to Maidstone and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door.

A decent B&B with great staff, nice layout and quality furnishings. It's still new so they are working hard to put everything in place but this is still a wonderful B&B in a prime location and is great value. There is free, high speed Wi-Fi available which is great. It's a fairly quiet venue even with being located in the centre of town, there is very little disturbance which makes for a good nights sleep. Highly recommend.

It shouldn’t be call a hotel or anything rather a run down property that should be going for renovation project online pictures can be deceiving. Got in to the hostel ..it looks like rundown project building. Fights everywhere between the caretaker and one of occupancy. Won’t advise my worst enemies to stay there.

So after a hour trying to find the hotel we did. Then got there no parking as stated on booking however we was then told to park in a car park around back. Very basic room. Used shower gel bottles on floor a shared bathroom which wasn’t made clear. All night people shouting out windows and breaking bottles all in all probably worst one I’ve stayed in and won’t be going back. Felt more like a doss house than a hotel. I felt very uneasy in the room and wasn’t a pleasant stay

I booked in early so I had to do some cleaning myself. The studio flat is nice and bright with small practical kitchen. The bathroom was shared between male and female but had not lock. Checked out before before the lock was fitted, too slow in response to that issue. Staff was helpful.

The room has no lock on the door; locks are only available outside the two rooms. There are many flies in the hallway, and they are appearing throughout the rooms. There is a lot of dust everywhere. In addition, although we were given the Wi‑Fi password, we’re unable to connect.

Sincerely it was an experience I don’t want to repeat.The room wasn’t tidy. You can tell they only changed the sheets but didn’t properly clean the rooms. The fridge had a lot of food leftover, the cupboards had a lot of leftover groceries. Even the washing machine had a lot of laundry leftover from previous clients. There’s no toiletries please take your own. The room smelled so much like cigarettes that our clothes smelled like cigarettes.I booked two rooms for my family only for them to knock at 23:30 if we could give one of the rooms to two girls brought in by the police. I saw someone sitting for over 2 hours to check in but there was no one there and they were not picking the call.
