If I could give the check-in process less than 1 star I would. We arrived at 7:30 pm and told (after 15 minutes of confusion) that our room wouldn’t be ready for another hour. Alright, we came back at 8:45 not only was it not ready, we waited another at least 20 minutes while the staff communicated in Greek with each other and did not advise us what was happening. Kept asking if I was David (I’m not and I’m a girl…). There were many other customers there confused waiting for when their rooms may or may not be ready. When we got a room we discovered that there was no blanket for the bed. Earlier in the lobby we saw a lady quite upset about the same thing and so this must be common. Likewise, a man was also complaining that he’s been waiting since 10 in the morning for a room and at 7:30 pm still did not have one. Luckily for us the maid was right down the hall and we acquired a blanket. I will say the room was clean and the hotel generally aesthetic, but the check in process and communication was the worst I have seen probably ever. Shocking for this price point. At the very least they could have offered a restaurant voucher for causing us to wait and for our troubles, but this didn’t even seem to be considered.
