Mediocre property
Overall, I found this hotel to be OK but leaning towards mediocricity. Several issues: 1) When checking in, I was greeted by a gentleman who seemed distracted with other things. He could not speak English or Spanish, only French. We had a hard time communicating. 2) When I booked the room, I had asked for a baby crib but none was provided at check-in. I had to ask for it again, but this was problematic due to our communication problems (see point 1). Eventually, through pictures he understood what I needed and he provided it. 3) The condition of the room was OK, but with evident signs of wear. The bottom part of the bathroom door was warped due to the proximity to the shower (bad design). A section of the baseboards was also warped and loose, once again due to the proximity to the shower. 4) The shower is open and it causes water to spill all over, creating a wet mess. 5) The breakfast was very bare and only open from 6-9 am, which was quite inconvenient for my family as we had to wake up earlier than we hoped. And finally, the worst is 6) No elevator available to the top floor where all rooms are located. I had to carry two heavy suitcases up the stairs that spiraled around the floors.
I only give this propery 2 stars because it wasn't completely terrible, but for the price I paid, the value wasn't really what I hoped for.
