Arrived to check in at a remote area in new Hampshire and was not allowed into the room until also passing over details of my vehicle for 'security reasons' as if this is 1924 and security cameras don't exist. Upon arrival, with limited time to prepare for a wedding, I was forced into a freezing cold shower because they had no working hot water. While they claimed this was "fixed" within 30 minutes, and therefore refused to adjust any cost to the bill, they clearly don't understand physics and that simply fixing a problem doesn't instantly heat all the water in the hotel's tanks again. Even the next morning, showers were lukewarm at best. The pathetic excuse for a continental breakfast would barely qualify as animal feed, and the beds and pillows were so hard that if you cannot find other lodgings and are only up in the area for a day, I highly encourage you to save your money, park your car in a roadside ditch, and sleep in the back seat, as it will be far more comfortable sleeping conditions and largely more hospitable as long as the weather isn't freezing.
