Die Anlage des Hotels (von außen) ist super schön! Anhand des Anblicks und des Preises erwartet man viel von den Zimmern. Wenn man das Zimmer betritt, kommt schnell Enttäuschung auf. Das Mobiliar ist sehr herunter gekommen, in jeder Ecke sieht man Flecken. Noch dazu kommt, dass die Schränke total schief hängen. Sobald man etwas auf den Nachttisch legt, rutscht es runter. Im Bad durfte man auch nicht zu genau hinschauen, es war nicht so sauber, wie man es sich wünscht. Im allgemeinen ein sehr enttäuschendes Hotel! Und ich weiß nicht, wieso dieses Hotel 4 Sterne hat. Der Preis ist auf jeden Fall nicht gerechtfertigt! Das Personal ist aber super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Dirty shower cubicle in a tiny bathroom

The room had been repainted and was a good size however the bathroom was not so good. The shower cubicle was hidden behind the bathroom door so when you manoeuvred you’re way around the door if you didn’t hit your legs off a waste of a shelf in the bathroom you would bang your head against the framework of the shower cubicle which was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months! It was only the cubicle that was dirty the shower heads were too with thick dust formed at the top of the pipe work. We reported this on 2 occasions during our 3 day stay which we cut short! They did offer us an alternative room but it was in a worse condition than the one we had! It was bigger though and had the walk in shower we were supposed to have. It was a nice welcome we got and were advised quickly to get some food as the restaurant was closing soon and return to check in which we did. It wasn’t a great selection of food and it didn’t improve at all over the 3 days. The guy who served us the food however was very pleasant and welcoming which is more than I can say for the other 2 waiters who were not interested at all in helping you. You had to approach them for drinks. We got to the room and dropped the cases and headed to the bar for a drink. The barman looked bored and arrogant but after a day or two after we got to know each other he was wanting to better himself but the tools he was supplied with were letting him down. It was a basic set up at the bar which let down the hotel

Belmare operates at a very high standard and provides very good value for money. Food was excellent. Always varied and very tasty. There is always a choice of two meats and fish at each sitting as well as traditional dishes and an abundance of delicious local vegetables, fresh and others cooked to local recipes. You are always returning to the buffet for more! The rooms are large, airy, modern and spacious with comfortable, large beds amd a few other quality nice touches. They also provide air conditioning and safes included in the price. Everything about the hotel is very impressive, the rooms and quality of food, but most of all is the positive, friendly attitude of the staff. From the owner, manager, receptionists, restaurant staff, bar staff and cleaning staff, nothing is too much. They are always keen to assist you in any way and with a friendly smile. They are happy to interact and an integral part of your enjoyable experience while staying at Belmare. There's a lot or space around at Belmare. You are able to eat your meals outside there is outside seating available at the bar area. The beach is 100 metres away and there are shops and several tavernas close by. You have everything you would want for a relaxing, chilled holiday at a high standard. There is a huge choice of hotels and acommodation on Rhodes however I will definitely return to Belmare. It is an ideal chillout hotel which you can enjoy on a reasonable budget.

Dans l'ensemble nous avons apprécié notre séjour au belmare hotel, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Le personnel est poli,souriant et très dynamique surtout chris au bar de la piscine. La piscine est jolie, les chambres sont spacieuses, bien décorées et disposent toutes d'un balcon ou d'une terrasse. Nous etions en all inclusive, la nourriture est bonne il y a des plats grecs (moussaka, souvlaki, gyros..) et des plats internationaux. Le petit dejeuner est très orienté "british" dommage. Qui mange des croissants salés et dds haricots au petit dejeuner ? Ce que j'ai le moins aimé c'est la musique de 11h au 23h au bar de la piscine. C'était insupportable et semblait plaire qu'à 2 3 clients anglais. La musique devrait s'arrêter à 22h. L'alcool n'est pas génial mais bon comme dans beaucoup d'hôtel de ce type. Les clients anglais et allemands également sont nombreux et très bruyants la nuit.

Nice Hotel close to beach.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and I felt at home. I arrived late at the hotel and food was set aside for me to which I thought was a nice touch. I had read previous reviews of the hotel prior to my holiday. I was especially concerned about the comments made about the food provided at the hotel. I stayed as a all inclusive package and ate at the hotel three times a day seven days a week. The food was good and I enjoyed every meal, salads, Greek cuisine which was nice and tasty. Breakfast was cold meats cheese bread buns and full English if required. The fruit just had a different beautiful taste especially the melon. I had no problem getting a sunbed by the pool and spent many a day on a sunbed by the pool. The only negative point I would make is the room I stayed in 110 next to the cleaners room. I was woken every morning at 7 by the cleaner banging door rustling of the plastic bags and the loud talking in the corridors. by the cleaner and staff. I will return to the hotel but refuse to stay in that room. Despite this I had a good holiday Lindos market is a must and if u like cocktails then the cocktail bar over the road near the hotel is a must. Beach is nice and only a few minutes away from the hotel, there are two beach bars at either end of the beach that are good. The air conditioning - fridge - security safe we free, I have been to other hotels were they charge for these. I am 55 year old and can be fussy.

Hotel confortevole recentemente ristrutturato, e situato in buona posizione per raggiungere le spiagge della costa orientale, e la bellissima città di Lindos. Personale gentile e disponibile e buona pulizia delle stanze.

Bell Mare hotel, Lardos, Rhodes Island, Greece

Bell Mare is a three star hotel, but next year it will be turned into forth star hotel. I originally purchased only B&B, but upon check in I was generously upgraded to All Inclusive (otherwise it is plus 20 euro per day), that included three meals and alcohol drinks as well.I was given free access code for the whole stay that saved me another 12 euro. The room was very clean and I had a beautiful view of Mediterranean Sea from my balcony. Hotel is just two minutes walk to the beach. All inclusive was very decent, it is three star hotel, so don't expect anything extra.all food was tasty, hot and fresh. local wine and beer were fine, other spirits I did not try as I am not a big fan of alcohol cocktails. The hotel guests are mainly English and German visitors.Room was cleaned every day, provided with fresh towels. Hotel does not provide beach / pool towels but they told me when they will turn into forth star hotel, they will start to do so, but not yet. Hotel itself recently renovated, spa facilities were not ready yet, under contraction, but all inclusive option allowed access to another all inclusive sister hotel, Olive Garden Hotel, where turkish style entertainment every night and you can spend all day in sister hotel. Bell Mare provides evening entertainment near the pool area, one night it was life singer, another night life saxophone. Music was from 8 pm until 11 pm every night. Overall, my stay in Bell Mare was great.
