Stayed there one night and no one said hi when we went inside to check in. When I said hi I was cut off by a really arrogant receptionist who said he was doing something he couldn’t take a break from so we had to wait five minutes. When he was done he explained that we could only pay the tourist tax with cash, which they don’t inform about when booking, so we had the go withdraw money from an ATM nearby meaning we had to pay a fee so the tourist tax ended up being double the amount of money. When we questioned it, without being rude, the receptionist was quite arrogant again and told us that we must be from a very advanced country as if paying by card is something completely new. The room itself had super dirty carpets full of stains, the desk had something sticky on it, the beds were bad, and the window didn’t close properly, which made it a very very long night with all the trains coming and going. We knew upon booking that we could end up experiencing some noise from the train station but quite a lot of the reviews said the hotel had soundproofed windows - that was not our experience though. On the plus side there was a kind female receptionist when we checked out but I wouldn’t recommend going.
