We have stayed here previously and had no complaints/issues, but this time was not restful for my husband nor myself. There was no cleaning of our room per request to CSR on video screen on our second (back-to-back) reservations. After the 1st reservation my husband was advised to get his own towels (self-service) and that we couldn’t receive room service because we had to request upon check-in. We did ask for room service upon the 2nd reservation (3rd night stay) and never received it.
The Main issues expoerienced:
1. No clean towels, we had to contact the front desk twice and the front desk had to deliver to them to our room,
2. No room service, or cleaning of our room for the entire stay,
3. We ran completely out of TP, but front desk staff delivered after 20 mins.,
4. No sheets for 3rd night, front desk staff delivered and I had to make my own bed.
5. Was upgraded to a room that was on first floor which was a kitchenette with no eating utensils, or pots/pans and had to pay extra fir it. The room had numerous blemishes on the bathroom floor, etc. and the shower curtain bar was extremely rusted,
6. We were told that wet towels we have used were to be returned to the kaudryroom, for cleaning, by us.
It really just felt like we were staying in a hostel. :-(
Plus:
1. A free cold bottle of water upon the upgrade,
2. Offered a % off future stay which we declined because we don’t wish to come back,
3. A very efficiet check-in process with a video conference system,
4. snack
