The hotel is a very nice one and that staff are top-notch. However, I must stress on the fact that they need to work to improve the check-in experience as it was not seamless. Granted it was made more complicated by one guest who was checking out and who was being very loud and shouting at the receptionists. As a result they were taken up with this guest and I along with another person waited for what seemed like an hour. When that guest finally left, the staff expedited my check-in.
The facilities and amenities cannot be faulted. The spa as well lived up to the hype and was well worth the relaxing experience. Would highly recommend it, although I am told by locals that you pay a premium for it compared to other places around. Would not think twice still because you the reader know you’re worth it.
Staff at the restaurant were a bit aloof the one time I went there. They sat me down with the menu and then went away and did not come back. So after what seemed like 15mins, I just left. That was despite the restaurant being deserted with only one other family.
To be blatantly honest as well, the 5 star rating may not quite be accurate but that would not prevent me from staying there again. Please just improve the check-in process and the guest experience.
