Great Manager - terrible hotel
There are 2 hotels on this site - the Hotel St Leonards and the Greenwich hotel at the back of the block. We were advised we needed to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs as there was no life (my fault for not checking) but they had a room where we only had to go up one flight of stairs. We accepted that room which turned out to be in the Greenwich hotel at the back of the block. The room was basic - the floor creaked loud enough to wake the dead but as we were above the hotel carpark we didn't disturb anyone. There were no towel rails or hooks so when you used the towel you needed to hang it on the back of the chair or lay it on the bed. The dead-bolt was not attached and the security chain was broken off - this should have sent warning bells but I must have been more tired than I thought. Around midnight we had someone going up and down the corridor banging on the doors and yelling - obviously someone let them in because the banging stopped but then the music started! around 1am I called the Manager (I really didn't expect the get through but the Manager answered - I told her the problem and she came down and asked the people to stop the music - they did for about 30 minutes but then they started singing. My husband fixed the security chain and we put chairs in front of the door - I was definitely concerned for our safety. We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. The Manager was great and offered us a different room but we just wanted to get out of there.

Black Mould around windows and air-con, rooms not as advertised - NO CABLE TV - no 7 day bar/cafe next door. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Rooms were clean and cosy, it's a busy road, but not too loud inside. Cheap and cheerful, onsite parking is an issue but was not too difficult to find a spot over night round the corner.

Found online picture of outside misleading and thought it was more a hostel type accommodation, but at last minute booked one night and was pleasantly surprised with the room which had been updated. Location is unbeatable if you are going RNSH each day. For price for room is good , but is small, but includes free parking and continental breakfast. Paid parking at RNSH is horrendous, so free parking at hotel was fantastic with a 5 min walk to hospital.

The property had mold in the bathroom, was loud due to the main street traffic, breakfast was very basic ( toast, cereal, milk, coffee) on the first day of staying the honey had ants in it. Location it good close to the train station. Will not stay again

Nothing to like about this property. Rooms were totally different what it was shown on photos. Parking available so i had to get paid parking on the street. It wad clearly mention huge parking available when i was booking the room. I will never recommend to book this hotel.
