This resort is very nice. Spa is great. Restaurants are good if you can get a reservation. Pools are nice. Entertainment was good for just being a resort. All in all I would go back.

Great experience. Activities were fun. Sand was soft by the resort. Lots of fun in the sun. Wish it was more friendly to recycle plastic bottles. The air conditioning didn't seem to turn the temperature up so we just ended up turning it off and still being comfortable.

Amazing and relaxing vacation
We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Haven. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We felt well attended. The resort is absolutely beautiful and we would love to stay here again.

We recently held our wedding at this beautiful resort in Cancun, and while the venue itself is stunning with gorgeous views, our experience with the wedding department was a significant disappointment. Leading up to our wedding, we had our coordinator changed three times, with the final change occurring just ten days before the big day. While we tried to remain positive, the situation only worsened. On our wedding day, we learned that our assigned coordinator had taken the day off, and the events manager stepped in. Unfortunately, she was largely absent and didn’t follow the detailed plan we had spent over a year creating. The groom and I ended up managing everything ourselves, which added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful day. To make matters worse, after the wedding, we discovered that over $300 worth of our decor was either stolen or carelessly thrown away, and what we did receive back was damaged. Despite numerous emails to the resort about these issues, we have not received any response. While I highly recommend the resort itself for a vacation, I cannot recommend booking your wedding here unless you want to take on all the planning yourself. The wedding coordinators, particularly Karla and Julia, did not fulfill their responsibilities, and only one staff member, Lizandro, provided any real assistance. It’s clear that improvements are needed in their wedding department to ensure that couples can truly enjoy their special day without added stress.

Great honeymoon in Haven for half off
We got a really good deal on this hotel, but don’t know if it would be worth the full price. The hotel is run down in areas, looks like it could be due to weather damage, and smells very damp, with mould on a lot of the outdoor furniture. The restaraunts were fine, but again if I was paying full price I would have been much more disappointed. We had a great time at the resort for what we paid, the staff were so great and there was always something to do. Vora Mar was our favourite, Olios was the least favourite. The buffet was great for breakfast and okay for lunch. I’d love to try more of the Mexican dishes but unfortunately cannot eat meat or cheese which was on most of them. We also paid extra for the tequila, mezcal and chocolate tasting that was absolutely fantastic. Other highlights include the breakfast servers that was always so happy, the mixology bartenders, cocktails at the lobby bar and Pepe at the pool activities!

The property was very nice- we enjoyed all the different restaurants. There was always room in the pools and seats around the pool areas. There is a lot of marble on the floors- so if you are there in the rainy season be careful when you walk- though they do try real hard to keep it dry.

Haven Riviera is a beautiful property. Swim out in building 8 would be perfect. We were in 7 and some rooms you would just see the back of a building. The beach was great on serenity side and non serenity side. Nice shade if you need it :) like me with skin cancer. The buffet was great. Steakhouse great. drinks were ok until they ran out of what you were drinking. They did not restock with another bottle. I would go back because of the beauty, close to the airport and how safe it is. I would hesitate because the food was just OK. The Serenity restaurant was horrible. (Breakfast being the worst). The Buffet breakfast is really great. BEST fruit selection. It was weird - we were in the serenity 7006. The sliding glass door doesn't close all the way. A fairly big gap all the way down the door except where the lock / locks the door. That means we had a lizard friend in the room. Maintenance quickly responded the 1st 2 days but couldn't get it fixed. Rooms are very clean. Charly is a great buster.

That was ours third visits to Haven Riviera Cancun. We love this resort so much and would like to come back probably next year. As an Expedia a gold member, we got a room upgrade that was located on first floor the building 7, room #7102 that has been facing on a public ladies and gentlemen toilets. As a part of this upgrade: our balcony was opened for seeing a restaurant back side where waitresses have been walking in and out till 1 am. We totally understand that are they jobs, but visitors have paid for some comforts. When we mentioned all about to the concierge, he replied that we can view an ocean partially (:(: Had we??? big question... The Haven resort management must work more effectively how to organize a nighttime, all Entertainments still be boring, low quality, Thanks,

Facilities were poor and could not handle the rain. Constant wading through water puddles on the walkway outside the rooms. There was ankle deep flooding on the ground floor after you exit elevator in building 2. On more than one occasion had to move pieces of metal and other construction materials left by the repair staff on the walkway outside the rooms. The rooms are not sound proof and you will hear people walking and talking past your room. Constant dragging of furniture from adjacent rooms and upstairs was quite loud they should put some felt under the furniture to ensure less noise when staff or guests move furniture. Another huge disappointment was the class system they try to use to upsell you on a more expensive package. So at the noisy pool bar I asked for a ginger ale and the lady loudly stated that the ginger ale is for Serenity club members unless I pay extra! BUT tonic water is available for my package!!! What is the difference? They will cost the same in any supermarket. We paid a lot for the stay which promised all inclusive only to find out you are 2nd class and some restaurants you cannot get to because reserved for the Serenity club members. This upsell trick is so underhanded and archaic. Would not stay at the hotel again for this reason. The service from the staff is a mixed bag. You have a few outstanding staff. The rest were not well trained and some were passive aggressive. Try this when you go to the buffet just observe how they run to cater to some

Property is nice and updated. Restaurants want dress code and closed shoes. I am on vacation or going to business meeting. Really horrible management. No hot water for days and management have no empathy what’s so ever!! Hosts at restaurant really are trained to ruin your mood. Best part you want me to wear closed shoes when I eat my dinner and women dancing bare foot in their night club.

We just returned from our second visit at Haven Riviera Cancun Resort and will probably return for a third. The resort is beautiful and the service is top-notch! This year we were able to enjoy 3 beach days. The water was warm and calm those days. There was some sea grass but not enough to keep us from swimming. The resort does a great job of keeping up with the sweeping so it doesn't pile up. Our favorite restaurant is Agua Bendita. So much so, we ate there 4 nights. The hostess Minerva is always very welcoming when you go in, and she even prepared a special table on our last night. We had 2 waiters, who both provided exceptional service and the food was fantastic! My husband's favorite is the Authentic Yucatecan cochinita pibil. We spent a lot of time at the circle or quiet pool. It's a laid-back atmosphere that allows for relaxation. Carlos was our waiter. He was excellent! So friendly, attentive and personable! He even served us on the beach the days we were there. We really enjoyed speaking with him each day! Degnar and Sahel were our concierges and checked on us frequently throughout the week to be sure everything was up to our expectations. Degnar even created us a "Happy Anniversary" sand sign for us! So sweet of him! New this year was the lobby bar. We visited it every evening and really enjoyed it. Very spacious, great entertainment and great service by Nicol and Roberto! We really enjoyed our second visit and look forward to returning in the future!
