The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous. It had a lovely balcony with splendid views and evening sunshine. We saw a little pine marten run around outside. The bed was comfy and everything was stylish and well thought out. I would highly recommend!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in de Heather Cabin. Geweldig uitzicht, de cabin is mooi ingericht en heel schoon. Neem voldoende eten en drinken mee want er is weinig in de buurt. Eigenaresse heeft me goed geholpen toen ik plotseling medische hulp nodig had. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hier te verblijven

I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!

Marion and Moray Were the greatest hosts. Very welcoming and I had my very first full Scottish breakfast at this place, which was amazing 😃 their recommendations on navigating around and how to get to next destination with checking out amazing places was helpful. very much appreciated.

Too far to skye

This is a beautiful property in a very remote area. To get there you drive a one lane track over the top of the mountain or a one track road around the coast. Both are beautiful, but time consuming. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation this is perfect. But it is too long a drive if your plans are on the Isle of Skye.

Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some of the lovely shortbread. Not to mention the welcome drinks which was a lovely touch. The B&B is right out of Applecross and so we took a drive back to the Applecross Inn for dinner with a lovely view out over the bay. Scottish breakfast was perfect and the locally smoked salmon was fabulous! It set us up for the day with a lovely a walk around Applecross before heading off the beat the incoming Amy.
