Very nice hotel in the center of Amsterdam. Walking distance to the Central station and to the big shopping streets. The room was clean, spacious and with a cool interior. Nice breakfast and very nice with the free drinks and snacks when you come back in the afternoon. The staff were very helpful.

The staff were very kind, the hotel was in a good location close to many tourist attractions. The breakfast was nice too. Everything was great except the fact that our tv didn’t work at all. It was quite late at night and we had only a one day’s stay so we didn’t mind and not complain about it.

Stay was alright!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was spacious and staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable and loved the rain shower. The breakfast was alright…but also very convenient. Liked that they offered snacks and drinks throughout the day. My biggest complaint is that the room was extremely dusty and that it was very hard to sleep the first night due to loud street noise. It wasn’t until later on the second day that we realized the window had been open all along. It has been open prior to our stay. We slept so much better after shutting it the second night. I have a feeling that’s what caused the room to be so dusty. We looked under the bed and there was a ton of dust.

Good location with a great size room. Friendly staff, good value breakfast. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Room hadn’t been checked properly as there was an empty deodorant can by the seating. Some issues with the in-room tablet and TV kept switching off at random times. Nice to have bottles of water in the fridge and good quality toiletries.

The Highlander Hotel was located next to a variety of different shopping experiences, excellent dining options and was extremely easy to walk to many different parts of the city.
