For a relaxing stay in Bangkok
Nice hotel in a really quiet area (great for a good nights sleep), a bit far from the main attractions though, however is enough to get taxis around.
10 min walk to boat stop.

A hidden little gem, location is not the best if you want to be in the center of everything but if you don't mind travelling and for the great price of the hotel, it is worth it. I stayed in a single room with window view and was very satisfied, unlike a review I read before booking about the window being fake was absolutely false. The hotel staff Nang and Jen were absolute sweethearts, very welcoming and helpful. Thank you for making my Bangkok trip a wonderful one.

Great little find in Bangkok. Staff is wonderful and helpful. I wish the private bathroom we had was a little cleaner, but otherwise well worth the low cost! The little breakfast bar downstairs is great as well!

Wonderful stay. Coming back!
Very nice clean room with hot shower and working AC!! Jen was extremely helpful, fun, and made us feel like old friends. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The neighborhood is quiet and has local food market street nearby on the way to the ferry dock which is about a 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved my stay!
Great local area to stay in Bangkok away from the party scene. Loved the street food market down the road and the ferry is about a 10-15 minute walk to drop you off at the Palace, China Town etc. Jen was fantastic and very helpful with all our questions. Yummy breakfast sandwiches!!

Trendy, clean boutique hotel
Very nice, new boutique hotel. The owner was there and gave us a lot of great tips about the area and the city in general. Good value for the price.

Absolutely recommend
The hotel is very beautiful, you definitely get more that what you pay. What it made the difference was the staff attitude. We had a problem with the shower and the impression is that they did the impossible and more to sort it out. Very nice feeling and impression. Definitely recommend

Sweet dreams, kisses and photography.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days and it was our first time in Thailand let alone outside the country. Kind Staff. Accommodating. Minutes from Bangkok. Articulate owner. Beautiful rooms. Awesome food. Needs to expand. Great atmosphere. Kindred spirits. Only the best place. Kills us that we are not there now. Get it? (Kama Bangkok). Nuff said.

Pretty much perfect
The whole atmosphere in kama bangkok is just outstanding. Wheter it is the beautifully arranged rooms with a/c and television ( comes with movies on a usb attached to the key of your room), or the modern bathrooms with hot water... Everythings really clean and in a modern and stylish design and for the price you pay its definitely an outstandingly good value. The breakfast options are all delicious and recommended to order as they're not included but worth a try. What makes it perfect is the friendly staff of the always mindful owner chris who will help his guests with everything from ordering a cab to giving recommendations about galleries, restaurants and everything else there is to see and do in bangkok. Felt like home! ... a very stylish designer home actually ;)

Great Bangkok hostel in a local Thai neighborhood
If you want an authentic Thai cultural experience from your surroundings to eating local food and interacting with local Thai people, I highly recommend staying at Kama Bangkok. The hostel being a little bit away from the tourist areas gives you much more access to Thai culture and regular Thai people than other hotels and hostels can. The owner and the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The facilities and amenities were exactly as shown on the website. The staff and consistently go above and beyond expectations in order to help make sure their get the best experience possible. When I got in a taxi at the airport and called for the owner to give the driver directions, the owner negotiated with the taxi driver for me to get a better priced cab fare than what the taxi driver initially said the fare to Kama would be. Staying at Kama felt as comfortable as staying with close friends who live among regular Thai people. I plan to stay at Kama hostel every time I go to Bangkok.

Top Quality Minimalism
Hostel style with shared bathrooms and few frills, but everything supplied to an excellent standard. Down a side street in a typical Thai residential area (authentic but lacks tourist bars so may not be for everyone). Walkable to Asiatique night market & sky train (about 15/20 min). Before arrival got an extremely helpful email giving clear directions that can be handed to any taxi driver or followed by self if using public transport. TV not connected to Thai TV, instead you get a USB loads with films & TV series. Plenty of bathrooms to use (3 for 6 rooms). Everything is modern, in excellent condition & stylishly presented in a minimalist fashion. If this places ticks your boxes (no frills, high quality, low tourist tat), I don't think you'll find anywhere better than the Kama.
