Firstly the staff do really try to make your stay bearable and are very friendly.
The hotel really needs some updating, the decor is tired and the bathroom room we had, unfortunately, leaked when you had a shower.
The worst thing was the building site next door which was outside our window, not much the hotel could do about it but it really affected our stay as we couldn't open our balcony door as we were 10ft away from the builders, it actually put you off going for a swim in the pool as the workers would be glaring at you.
As for the hotel, the little things make a difference - free WiFi is available but only in the lobby, if you want it in your room then thats extra (2 Euro a day per person) this should be clearly stated. As is bottled Water, something you would expected to have in your room as part of an all inclusive package but that too is extra.. there is a theme here as you can see.
The food was basic on some of the days, we ate out most days as it really didn't agree with our palate.
The hotel location is brilliant but if they don't take care of the look and feel then people will stop coming.
