Unsafe and run down. Not recommended.
Very out dated property in the old area of Lahad Datu. Felt quite unsafe walking around the area, everything was run down. The hotel is above a mall, but the elevator requires no key to access the hotel levels, so not very secure. Air con is not efficient and extremely noisey. Bed was horrible, towels and sheets not clean. Cracks in wall paper and bathroom in terrible condition. Staff didnt speak much english, so check in was difficult and gave no information about room, hotel or area. It may be cheap, but you can do a lot better for similar money. Recommend looking elsewhere in the newer area of Lahad Datu (My Inn)

Nice hotel to rest for Danum valley
A good hotel for our 1 night stop off to and from Danum valley and Kota Kinabalu. Friendly staff, comfortable air conditioned room and a buffet breakfast. The room had a smokers smell though and there wasn’t anything obvious to do nearby.

Ok for passing through
We stayed for one night before heading to Danum Valley. The room was clean and comfortable however there was a strong smell of stale smoke. Unfortunately we found Lahad Datu itself to be underwhelming with few features geared to tourists.
