My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag of exceptional luxury and frustrating isolation. The hotel itself is stunning, boasting exquisite design and top-notch amenities. The service was impeccable; every staff member was attentive, courteous, and eager to assist with any request. It truly felt like a premium experience inside the hotel's walls.
However, the significant drawback was its remote location. Situated far from the city center, getting around proved to be a major inconvenience. The hotel's transportation service was the only viable option, as taxis were virtually non-existent in the area. This service was not only excessively expensive—charging nearly double what a regular taxi would cost—but also incredibly slow, with wait times frequently stretching up to an hour.
Additionally, the hotel's surroundings were desolate, lacking any local shops, kiosks, or restaurants. To truly experience the vibrant culture and flavors of Morocco, a trip to Tangier city was essential. While the hotel offered a luxurious escape, its isolation made it difficult to immerse oneself in the local environment, which significantly detracted from the overall experience.
