French Quarter January
We wanted to stay in the French Quarter the hotel was close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The hotel is old but the rooms are comfortable. Bathroom is smal but we had plenty of hot water even on the 16th floor. Enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful.

Value, security, overall comfort
Value for the price, a block away from the noisy Canal Street. You can still hear the boom boxes from the cars and the revving of the engines, but that eases away after midnight. Staff was very friendly, location is very convenient. There is a market across the street, reasonably priced QSR food as well. Royal street is full of art shops and quieter bars than Bourbon, and the hotel has a No Party Rule stated on the check in form. Security is very good, no one gets in without a key with security staff always present. Wife says she would stay there again, and she is picky.
