So with a grain of salt, I am grateful to have the opportunity to stay in a $200/night room while others may not have such a luxury.
That said, this was my last stay at this Doubletree.
1. There was a discarded contact lens on the phone that did not work.
2. The room I was given was not the room that was pictured in the booking.
3. Front desk clerk was less than customer service oriented. “Not responsible for 3rd party bookings.” I paid for a jr. suite, got an adult room, $50 difference in the booking.
4. Trash bag was used and ripped, so it was not a bag.
5. Shower did not work a facilities fixed it, but not in time for me to shower before my evening’s events.
6. Shower curtain did not have second layer, so the bathroom was flooded after I was finally able to shower.
7. The shower gel bottle was missing from the shower. Shampoo and conditioner were there, but no shower gel.
8. Had a great view of the first floor roof.
Was not a value of $200
On the pros side,
1. the bed was extremely comfortable!
2. The cookies are always delish!
3. The two complimentary bottles of water are appreciated.
