First of all, the room. Its a good size containing a comfortable bed, air conditioning (essential), fridge and safe. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and a bidet. The water pressure on the shower wasn’t too great at the time of writing but for me that was a very minor issue. I guess the only thing I expected to be there but wasn’t was coffee/tea making facilities. For me this wasn’t a huge issue as I’d booked breakfast, but for some it might be.
The staff I found to be very friendly and helpful whenever I spoke to them. The ones I spoke to also had a good level of English which helped me out enormously.
Breakfast is a good selection. Cereals and cooked, as well as a range of fruit, cheese and ham, and pastries. I’m here in the summer so I was able to have it outside in the garden which was a very pleasant way to start the day. While on the subject of food I’ll mention dinner too. I had it two nights here and found it to be of good quality with a good selection.
The only downside that I can think of really is that it’s a bit further away from the centre of the old town than some might like. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Setas. Not an issue for me particularly, but just to mention it. Also, as my room was above reception (227) there as a bit of noise in the early hours with other guests coming in from nights out.
In short, this is a hotel I really enjoyed being in and would recommend it.
