Third time is the charm
First room we put in had an issue with the heat, pipe was leaking. They moved us to another room, but the door latch was broken! The third room was great, and it was an upgrade to the room I originally booked, so that was kind of cool. Management responded the issues quickly and efficiently.

18° in NY and our room did not have heat the first night. It took them until about 1:30am to decide to put us in rooms with heat. My daughter laid shivering while the service person worked on the heater in the room. They split us up into two rooms. The room my daughter and I received was fine. They took my husband to a room that was already occupied and questioned those guests about when they got there. They then put him in another room that had a shattered television screen he discovered when he turned on the television. The lobby was freezing. Pictures below show people in coats and hats in the lobby because that’s how cold it was. We were told we would have to check out in the morning and check back in to a different room the next day. We did not do that because I didn’t trust they would have a room available. The speed that they solved these issues was extremely slow and not customer friendly at all. We received zero credit for our inconvenience after being told we would. I would not stay here again.

Christmas in NYC
Room was small which is expected in NYC, but we couldn’t even get passed the bed till the door was closed! Air went out 2 day and it got HOT at night. (Would have opened a window of we knew it opened) Waiting for the elevator on the 17 floor was a nightmare! We walked 17 flights of stairs a few times to bust get out!! One day we got stuck on the elevator and it was PACKED which is a huge nightmare for me and then it happened!! Hotel is close to everything, employees VERY nice, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Party Hotel of Old
I used to work here as a Bellman in 1999! So much old NYC charm. There's a reason now in 2024 the rooms are cheaper than they were in 1999 but it's still an amazing location and great value for it. Don't expect the celebrities and super-models that used to frequent these parts but it's still a highly recommended stay.

A decent stay
Overall a decent stay. Negatives: Room was not fully guest ready. A/C / heater had to be replaced. Light fixtures clearly were not inspected for functioning prior to guest usage. Lots of wear and tear in walls. Shower drains slowly creating a mini pool of water inside. A receptionist is not always available to answer the phone when needed. There was supposedly a service fee over $50.00 that was not disclosed prior to booking. An attempt to contact the hotel the week prior was made but no one answers their phone. Thankfully this app confirmed there wouldn’t be any fees beyond the $448.00 being paid at the property as to avoid any surprises. Employee on property confirmed this fee would also not be returned. A decent stay overall but definitely does not reflect the price paid for staying here. The lobby clearly had more care given towards it versed the actual rooms.

Great location but pricey/small rooms
The main area was cool fun vibe with bar and coffee/pastry attached to the property. However the room was the so small, I have stayed in many other NY hotels and these rooms had to be some of the smallest ones i have seen. We also had a major issue with elevators 2 of our days there that forced us to climb 8 flights of steps which was simply miserable.

Pontos negativos: Pedimos almofadadas adicionais e o hotel disse que não tinha. Não tem café da manhã. As camas são desconfortáveis e muito pequena para um casal e 2 filhos adolescentes. Os elevadores demoram muito pra descer e subir. Ponto positivo: perto da Times Square Chuveiro quente e forte. Não foi uma experiência agradável pra voltar novamente.

Great location
The hotel was located within 50m of Time Square . The rooms were adequate if a little small but probably the norm for this area and for the cost . The vibe in the lobby was lovely and offered a great place to hang out with the family but great for adults as well. I would certainly stay here again .

Decent Hotel
The hotel was okay. The staff at check in were nice and helpful. The room was okay, but less clean and updated than I would have expected with the amount I paid. The bathroom was nice but a little jail-ish. It was extremely loud though. I realize it’s in Times Square, but I’ve stayed at several other hotels in the area that have been far quieter. Overall, it was okay but not exceptional. I likely won’t be back to this property.

The Hotel that could
The room was comfortable after maintenance had to take care of the A/C. The room was stifling enough without it. As for location, only a 2 minute walk to Times Square, and a 10 minute walk to Rockafella Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Besides the A/C issue and check in process, the hotel is in an ideal location and definitely worth the price.

Perfect location for Broadway shows
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights before Christmas. The location is very convenient to Times Square and the Broadway theaters (we only had a 10 to 15 minute walk to most places we wanted to go). The hotel is clean and safe. Love the vibe of the lobby. Yes, the room was small, but we expected that for NYC. Our only complaint was the heat was not working well in our room (we were there when the lows were 14 at night & mid-20s during the day). I set the heat to 68, but it never got above 65. I told the reception desk on the the second day of our stay, and they said they would send an engineer to look at it. When we returned to our room that night, the temperature had continued to drop, and by the last morning it was 63. When we checked out, I informed them it needed to be addressed before the next person checked into the room. We would stay again, but hopefully next time our room temperature will be more comfortable.
