I recently stayed at Floridays Resort Orlando for a weekend, and while the spaciousness of the unit was a plus, my overall experience left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, I noticed that some windows had duct tape, which gave off a poor first impression. The cleanliness of the room was also a concern; the sheets were ripped and some appeared dirty, and the soap in the shower had not been replaced, which was disappointing. No paper towels for a full kitchen available.
The furniture in the unit felt extremely old and flimsy, and I encountered some issues with maintenance, such as a broken garbage disposal and a bed frame that was coming apart.
Noise was another significant drawback. We had our toddler with us and couldn't sleep. Despite being on the fifth floor, we could hear everything from the street below, and the windows were far from soundproof, making it difficult to relax.
On a positive note, the staff was nice and accommodating, which was appreciated. However, given the state of the facilities, I won't be staying at Floridays Resort again. The hotel is in dire need of a full renovation to meet guests' expectations.
