We’ve stayed at less expensive resorts and had better overall experiences, especially when it comes to food, activities, and evening entertainment. Most shows were underwhelming, with the Michael Jackson show being the only standout.
The room itself was nice, but only double beds were available. We had two doubles and a couch, and the couch was surprisingly comfortable. Some areas appear updated, but storage was a major issue. What looks like a dresser is actually a solid block used as a room divider, leaving very little space to store clothes.
The bathroom layout was great in theory—a large soaking tub, separate toilet, and big shower—but the shower did not drain properly. Water pooled during use, and despite reporting it three times, it wasn’t fixed until the bathroom flooded. Unfortunately, clothes we had stored under the sink were soaked as a result.
I contacted the front desk and the supervisor was excellent. She arranged complimentary laundry service for up to 20 items, which we appreciated, though we still had to dry additional items on the balcony.
Would I recommend it? Possibly. Would I return? No—not because it was terrible, but because it didn’t stand out compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at.
