Such a lovely place to stay, complimentary tea/coffee and cookies and cake in the lounge was a lovely touch. Staff were really helpful and restaurant food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great stay, loved the cinema room., food was excellent although not cheap. Facilities were great, exceeded all my expectations at a very reasonable price. Would stay again with no hesitation.

Practically everything was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities and rooms etc all excellent. The evening menu in the restaurant was also varied and good. It’s also great that that there is dedicated secure cycle parking. The only slight negative is that the breakfast is on the expensive side if you don’t want to have the cooked breakfast component. The ‘continental’ parts were adequate but didn’t constitute great value for £15.00 Also ask for a room at the back of the building if you can, as the road out front gets busy and loud quite early.

When they say they are dog friendly, they really do mean they are dog friendly!!! Doggy treats everywhere and to our food obsessed cocker spaniel thats all that mattered!!! Really lovely property, very comfortable and clean AND a really lovely lounge area with FREE cake and coffee and tea!!! And the FREE cake was amazingly good!!! Plus more doggy treats! The food in the restaurant was fantastic too! We had a pizza and the chicken burger and they were perfection!!! Just one issue really, road noise can be a little bothersome! I mean, the road itself isnt terribly busy but you are aware when cars are driving past. Would probably be better to ask for a room that was on the same side as the road to/from Hope. Other than that, the rooms were spotless, really lovely bathrooms and also huge! And incredibly dog friendly!! Really enjoyable stay and would happily visit again.

Liked that hotel was a bit quirky. Room was nice overlooked the car park but with countryside views beyond. We had an evening meal in the Bareca restaurant which was very good especially the Dirty Burger, highly recommended

Great rooms the establishment is modern and in good decor etc. Kitchen hygiene does require a little attention. If we stayed again we probably wouldn't eat at the hotel.

Good car park. Spoke to 2 staff that was polite and decent. Helpful with information on bike and walking routes. Smelt a bit like dog wee at the entrance also a broken drain pipe. Bedroom doors slammed shut so could possibly wake u up. All in all fairly decent. Didn’t have breakfast. Got the room for £85 wouldn’t want to pay much more for it tbf. No aircon

I found Bike & Boot Hope Valley exceeded my expectations. Easy parking, efficient check-in and comfortable, clean room (bigger than expected). Place to sit by the window for reading, having a cuppa etc. More than enough storage space (3 large drawers and hanging space). Fridge in room. The shower was good. Cosy lounge for residents with comfy seats and a coffee machine - nice for the evenings. I ate twice in the restaurant in the evening and had good food and service both times - there are lighter options as well as hungry walkers' portions. I cannot comment on the breakfast or the free cake as I did not have those.

Short but sweet stay - room was excellent , dog loved it. Evening meal was a pleasant surprise - really well cooked and not ping food - Paella was excellent.
