The hotel is in a quiet location with walks from the door. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Rooms are appealing but be aware all the rooms are dog friendly which is not always good for non dog owners Had a problem but the staff were very helpful in resolving

We had a dog friendly courtyard room which was absolutely perfect with access directly out onto the lane. Breakfast staff were superb.. nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommended for a dog friendly stay!

The staff were very polite and helpful. The food, both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The building had a very rustic and cosy feel. Would imagine at Xmas, would be very atmospheric and charming. Definitely will return if visiting this part of Norfolk again.

Nice room with air conditioning (which was a blessing in the recent heatwave!). Lovely dinner choices and even better breakfast. Quirky deli and farm shop nearby. Nice little getaway.

Great little place to stay for a weekend in Norfolk. Comfortable room, great selection of beers and food in the pub. Breakfast was excellent too. Plenty of coastal paths nearby if you enjoy walking too.

A comfortable hotel on the coast for walking and bird watching. A rather limited menu but the meals were perfectly cooked. The wine list was fairly extensive but over priced. The breakfast was fabulous!

The Hotel and our Stay were very good, the only problem for us was the Room was very hot and we couldn’t open the windows very wide, there was an air conditioning unit in the room but we couldn’t leave it on all night as it was too noisy and we couldn’t put the vent out of the window because as I said the windows wouldn’t open enough so we found it difficult to sleep!!

We stayed for two nights at The Lifeboat and it was a very nice place to stay. The evening meal choices were very good as were the breakfasts and the food we ate was lovely. The room was spacious and we had a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great venue to visit many places from. So pleased we stayed there!
