2/10 Lemah
8 Mei 2026
I had a terrible experience, and I am writing this to make others aware so they can avoid going through the same situation.
In summary, I found myself in the middle of the night without a room, with no information, people trying to sell me a new room, and in a quite intimidating atmosphere.
Here are the facts:
1. I arrived at 10pm, and there was absolutely nobody available to hand over the keys. There were no instructions on where to go, and even the address was incorrect.
2. I asked several security personnel around the building, but no one knew about the place.
3. I called the number provided in the reservation. They eventually guided me to a reception area, which was not the reception of the place I had booked.
Finally, a young man showed up. When I thought he was going to hand over the keys, he instead offered me another room at a new price, completely unrelated to my reservation, even though he was the person who had answered the phone when I called the number in the reservation.
4. By midnight, I decided to leave and go to the Holiday Inn, paying much more for a last-minute booking.
Hotels.com should be more careful when allowing these types of rooms to be booked through its platform. This was not only inconvenient and stressful, but also potentially unsafe. If this continues, someone could eventually find themselves in a genuinely dangerous situation.
