The location is unquestionably the hotel's strongest suit. It sits within a 15-minute walk of popular attractions including the Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office, with Vincom Center just a 5-minute stroll away.
Since we were keen on exploring the city on foot, the hotel was ideal.
Our room had only an internal window and so the curtains had to be drawn all the time. Here are some peculiarities of the room: The bath tub and the basin were inside the room rather than in the area. The toilet and the bathing areas were separate. However, the room had a minibar, safe, smart TV, and bathroom (rather the basin) equipped with slippers, hair dryers, and toothbrushes.
The Sora Kitchen offered a gourmet buffet breakfast, highlighting Vietnamese cuisine. The spread was good and food delicious.
Although presenting itself as a 4-star boutique hotel is an ambitious pitch, the hotel was surely good value for money at about $70 a night.
