Nice Hotel Paseo Montejo

It was very nice and very clean. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in with a great view. Close to many restaurants and activities safe to walk, a lot of entertainment we hope will come back soon.

The staf were doing their job, however, the matress was very u uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard and bulky. Hard to sleep on them. Talking with other guests they had exactly the same experience as we did. On the other hand, Mario and other front desk attendants were very helpful. Thank you!

Dirty and horrible

I am totally shocked that this website would include this hotel in their selection. We had scheduled 12 days at this location but we left after 2 days. The room was dirty, the curtains were soiled, the bathrooms were rusted out, I can go on and on with how dirty, old and unsafe this hotel is. Somebody needs to put a stop to it immediately.

Room neglected. Towels in very poor condition. Toilet not water enough to flushing. Last morning not hot water in shower. Poor cleaning. Shower tub whit mold and very deteriorated. Room haven’t refrigerator at all. We asked manager if they have at lease ice, answer “ we don’t manage ice” We ended up buying a cooler to keep water and drinks we bought cool. BAthroom small , rust silicon patches and toilet paper in bin beside the toilet, cockroches running around at night , pool dirty , would not swim in , layer of grease and dirt and bugs, and lose rock on the bottom, can eat , drink or some on empty pool patio , wasps all around as floor was dirty , no fidge or coffe in room or cups ....

The location was great, right on the Paseo. The hotel was generally clean. We were given a wheelchair accessible bathroom, which we had requested, and that was helpful. Unfortunately, the water never got hot and the shower flooded the bathroom. The cafe downstairs did have excellent croissants, though.
