The resort did not live up to its 5-star rating at all. If you're looking to relax, I would recommend avoiding this place. It was difficult to navigate, with challenges in getting reservations, finding chairs, obtaining towels, and making restaurant bookings.
The food was just okay, with poor quality, even at the restaurants that required reservations. The entire resort was overcrowded, leading to long wait times for everything. For instance, there was only one coffee shop, and the line to order was always excessively long. There weren't enough snack options near the beach, which made it challenging to go back and forth with kids.
At the pool, you could only get one towel with a card provided by the resort, and if you lost that card, there was a $100 penalty. Additionally, there were not enough chairs available at either the beach or the pools. Reserving chairs felt like a mission that required planning the night before.
Overall, I would rate this as a 3-star hotel. The highlights were the beautiful landscaping and the salad bar, which we enjoyed.
