"The room was exceptionally comfortable and well arranged/decor. The little touches like espresso kurig nice. The bathroom/shower excellent and roomy. There were a few noisy moments from other travelers above us (we were on first floor) but not at critical times and the building we were in is the older lodge next to restaurant so expect it to be a little less sound proof. Thankfully, it did not become problematic, just be aware that "heavy footers" might make some noise as they settle in. Overall though, we were completely pleased with out experience here. Also, short paved walk to the village - sweet! And if biking/skiiing right across from a lift."

"We stayed at Moore House Inn for just one night during our road trip through four states, but it quickly became one of the standout stops on our journey. This cosy B&B is ideally located just a short drive from several West Virginia state parks, making it a perfect home base for hikers, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet escape. The inn has been recently renovated, and the results are beautiful — everything feels fresh and carefully curated. Our room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable with what we can only describe as a perfect mattress. Combined with the quiet surroundings, we had one of the best nights of sleep on our entire trip. Caley, the owner, was absolutely lovely. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a comfortable stay. We only wish we had stayed longer!"

"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and laughed about it later. The resort itself was beautiful, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. The cabins were cozy and warm, as we were there in February/March when it was cold, and the exterior bath house was also very warm. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water. I highly recommend if you're looking to escape into nature."
