Nice place, this was my second stay at Ahern. However, this time was different. The lobby is now in the second floor of a separate building from the rooms, which to me makes no sense at all. The most inconvenient part of this trip was getting a room in the floor level 1, which is neither the ground level, nor the second floor (where the lobby is located. There is no stairs to take down to ground level. In level 1, one gets stuck. To get to the parking garage, you nees the elevator to go up; to go the restaurant you need to use the elevator. So the lobby, the parking garage, and the restaurants are all in the adjacent building. Considering this is a relatively small hotel, there was so much walking and so much use of the elevator, more than necessary. I stayed for 10 nights, so placing me in level 1 was not the most convenient floor to be. If I ever stay at Ahern again, I will make sure to NEVER again be assign to Level 1. I appreciate the complimentary high speed WiFi. Hotel is nice, is located at the end of Las Vegas Strip, convenient location is you are driving, parking is free. Food tastes great; however, David, the morning manager at Ottimo was rude not customer friendly. He refused to honor the free breakfast due to the lack of voucher, which by the way, had not been requested from me in 5 previous visits. Food is great, just not the manager. The location is nice, except level 1. Ahern, do better. At least stairs for level 1. Thanks. Alberto
