First of all , the references about the noise coming from Catch / the Lazy Coconut late at night are valid if you stay in a beach tent. HOWEVER - the simple solution is to book a tent in the lagoon , in the interior . The most you’ll hear is some traffic driving by the access road , and the animals late at night , and the birds first thing in the morning. However, if you’re Glamping in south east Asia , that’s somewhat the point. The tents are quite well insulated, and are luxurious.
I’ve stayed in the Four Seasons , Relais et Chateaux etc etc , and this place is up there with the best of them for total experience.
Monsieur Landgraf , the Manager is incredibly friendly, and helpful , and the staff are wonderful.
The beds are so comfortable, and the bathrooms are quite elegant . Bang Tao beach is one of the better beaches in all aspects .
All in all - 10 out of 10 experience.
